8 Months and 2 Stamps later, finally finished the BHD-era build. Not clone-correct to anything, but really pleased with the turnout… curious to see if the Surefire lamp holds up to recoil. Read somewhere there’s a head that’s made for that, but going to see what I can get out of this one.

HELP with original Frankford Arsenal XM-16: anyone know a way to learn year of manufacture for this? It’s old… Serial is FA0095. It was the 95th rifle off the line. Any idea on value as well? Hoping someone here may be able to point in the right direction… THANKS!
