Workaholism and Motherhood
I was surprised Reddit had no dedicated workaholism sub, so decided to start one. This community is for raising awareness about & building solidarity re: the struggle with work or activity compulsion. In my experience, work addiction is common, insidious, and often misunderstood/misrepresented. Too often it’s upheld by capitalism and meritocracy, and considered socially acceptable. Members of Workaholics Anonymous are welcome, but you don’t have to be working a specific program to be here.

Does anyone know if showers are/are going to be open under phase 2? We’re going to presqu’ile next week, and last year when we went the showers were closed, but I’m really crossing my fingers to be able to shower this year!

Doesn’t anyone know what was happening around Hunt Club/ Hawthorne around 7 tonight? Several police cars a few blocks west of Hawthorne on hunt club and more south on Hawthorne, all lights flashing but nothing seemed to be going on.
