If I have an effect that let's me cast permanents from a graveyard, does it allow me to cast the permanent part of an adventure from a graveyard or do I need an effect that let's me cast Sorceries or Instants from a graveyard to properly cast the adventure?

I have a question concerning Vigor: does it prevent damage from each/all of my creatures? Are all of them immune to any type of damage? So for example somebody plays a boardwipe like Starstorm, do all of my creatures get buffed instead of being dealt damage?
