Slinky Manipulation (or springbending) is the art of using one's hands to pull waves of tension through a (usually plastic) slinky, creating shapes that appear to defy gravity and freeze in mid-air. Slinky Manipulation originated in China in the early 2010s, where slinkies are known as 彩虹圈 ("rainbow circle").
