Mill Crest Vintage Wedding Dress Featured on Today Show

Lisa has a great appreciation for vintage clothing and personally asked Mill Crest Vintage to dress her for her first national television interview.  Although the request was made the day prior to the interview, Mill Crest Vintage was happy to oblige bringing Lisa 15 vintage wedding dresses from which to choose. The selection of dresses included everything from 1940's bias cut slip dresses to 1970's peasant style boho dresses.

Lisa Gant and Alex Pelling

Lisa fell in love with an authentic 1950's vintage wedding dress done in an ecru toned silk organza with a peplum and princess neckline.  She shared with all of their Facebook and Twitter followers; "This is the one!!! LOVE IT!!!"  To complete the ensemble, Mill Crest Vintage also provided the vintage shoes and silk corsage.

Alex and Lisa, from Manchester, England, have embarked on a journey to travel the world and get married in over 50 different places.  The idea grew out of their love for travel and for each other.  They decided to have a wedding ceremony in each place they visited so that they could personally experience the traditions and culture of matrimony around the world. To date, they have been married 24 times, but will not be legally married until 2014 in a location yet to be determined.

The bride and groom plan on returning to NYC for another wedding ceremony and have requested that Mill Crest Vintage dress Lisa for her special day. Paula Cooperman, of Mill Crest Vintage, looks forward to styling the bride saying, "All weddings are special and Lisa & Alex bring magic to every ceremony they have."
